VDG was brought on to reinvent a colonial home in Clinton Township that had been left unmaintained for years and needed to be fully renovated from the top down. The project called for the entire house to be gutted and allowed for some changes to the layout to create a more modern feel within a traditional shell. The kitchen was opened and enlarged giving views across the house from the family room through the kitchen and into the dining area. The upstairs master bed was given an en suite and an upstairs laundry room was created in the upper hallway. The upstairs also was redesigned to increase the number of bedrooms from three to four while maintaining large bedroom sizes. The project spanned the course of 4 months from start to finish.
